The National Football League (NFL) has announced a $600,000 donation to the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) to fund a three-year research initiative that aims to understand gambling behaviors among college students and athletes.
According to the press release, the goal of this partnership is to explore the prevalence, risk factors, and impacts of gambling among college students. The study will focus primarily on the increasing accessibility of online sports betting platforms.
